Run by James Morris and family, Ty Poeth Farm is nestled in the beautiful Welsh countryside and located alongside the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal in New Inn, Pontypool.
About Us
The Morris Family has a long history of farming, dating back to 1840, and are passionate about introducing the local community to the top quality, home reared produce that can be found at their little Farm Shop.
In 2023, Ty Poeth Farm began growing from seed in the greenhouse, at the correct seasonal time, outdoor vegetables as well as annual and perennial flowers. These are available to purchase as plants to take home and grow, or to harvest.

We are excited to now offer educational visits to our working farm! You can ensure the children in your care understand how the food they eat makes it onto their fork by booking one of our educational group visits.

The welfare of our animals is our top priority, all of our livestock enjoy roaming our vast farm land. We strongly believe that the high quality of our produce yields from the health and happiness of our animals.
From Farm to Fork
You can be assured that your beef, lamb, pork or turkey is as fresh as possible, having been reared right here on your doorstep before making its way to your table. High quality, sustainable eating.
The Little Farm Shop
Located in the stunning South Wales countryside, on the Mon Brecon canal, we are happy to welcome you to our farm shop to purchase our home reared meats, farm-grown vegetables and flowers, and a selection of local produce including honey, milkshakes and more!

🍓 Exciting News! 🍓
Delicious, Pick Your Own Strawberries are now available at Ty Poeth Farm in New Inn, Torfaen!
Feel free to bring your own baskets, buckets, or containers, or grab one of our supplied punnets upon arrival. Our table-top strawberries are grown in tunnels, so no backache or rain worries – perfect for children to reach and pick!
📅 Open daily from 9am to 7pm - simply turn up!
⏰ Closing date depends on the fruit - so keep an eye on socials.
💰 £8.50 per kg.
💳 Cash and card accepted.
Group Visits Now Available

Farm-Grown Veg & Plants Now Available
We're proud to announce that you can now come along to the farm to PYO veg, fruit and annual and perennial flowers. All have been grown from seed in our greenhouse in the right season. Plants include lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumbers and lots more!
The Cutest New Arrivals
The newest arrivals at Ty Poeth have been having fun this week and had lots of visitors coming to see them. They have been enjoying nibbling on the pumpkins - and playing with them too! As with all the animals at Ty Poeth they have plenty of space to roam around. Soon our turkeys will be out and about too, we're sure you will either see or hear them when you visit the shop!
